In the mid of 1998, Indra found her health challenge and went through many medical and alternative cure and finally she stepped into her first yoga class after being advised by a good friend in Bandung-West Java, Indonesia. Indra was a translator (English to Indonesian) then soon she joins the practice which were mainly chanting, meditating and karma yoga (doing service to others). She continue doing it even her teacher returned to India and never comes back to Indonesia anymore. Indra keep doing her practice in the Buddhist temple for 8 years.
After graduating her Master Degree from UK, Indra settled down in Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia and went again to yoga class where she got shocked of all asanas (postures) people were doing and they called it Yoga. Felt intrigued to find out more, Indra signed in to Teacher Training Course for 3 months and continue with 200 hours International Training from INSPYA Yoga with Lance Schuler from Australia, after the course she got offered to teach and she found herself became a full time teacher.
